Waterside is a primary school at the heart of the community in Chesham. We are a small school that strongly believes in educating the whole child, looking beyond the curriculum to prepare our pupils for life in the 21st century .
We offer an exciting and dynamic education for our pupils that not only meets all the requirements of the National Curriculum but also makes learning fun and relevant for them.
Our excellent facilities include a state of the art learning resource centre, interactive whiteboards in every classroom and fantastic outdoor spaces to support learning.

The School in autumn

We believe that learning should also take place beyond the school. The school uses the local area as a resource and we are blessed with a mix of town and country a stone’s throw from our front door. We take full use of the transport links we have to London as well to access many different days out. Each of our classes has one major off site visit each term.

‘Almost all pupils get on very well with each other and with the adults in school. They are highly courteous and polite. The importance of treating others with respect is instilled so well that they do this without a second thought. Pupils’ conduct around the school is mostly outstanding.’
